Bruschetta sounds fancy as shit, I know. But I promise it's easy.
Impress your friends or guest with this simply delicious recipe. I like to make this as an appetizer or a late night snack. There's a variety of different ways you can make this based on the ingredients you choose to add.
The following recipe is how I like to make it, feel free to use different bread, cheese and or veggies toppings as well as dressing.
Do know that all my portions are estimates as I just blindly pour/sprinkle whatever I want on top
Here's what you'll need:
-
1 Slice of naan or flatbread (I use whole Wheat)
- 3 Tbls of olive oil
- 1/3 cup of cheese (I used goat cheese but feta and mozzarella would be really good too)
- Vegetables! – Whichever ones you like. ( I like tomatoes, olives, red onion, spinach)
- Balsamic vinegar (or whatever dressing you want for the bruschetta)
- A Pinch of Salt & Pepper
Here's what you gotta do:
1. Heat a pan on low heat and add Olive oil
2. Make the bruschetta. Cut tomato and red onion into really tiny squares. add mix with balsamic vinegar and add in salt & pepper.
3. Add naan or flatbread to pan, let cook for 2 minutes or until lightly brown the turn over
4. Add bruschetta, cheese with veggie toppings and sprinkle some more salt and pepper or any other sauce you would like.
5. Heat for another minute or two
6. Slice & Enjoy
Don't forget to mix it up and try different varieties of the recipe.
