Grand-Maman's Creme De Fraise (Lazy Strawberry Mousse)

Hello again,
Don't worry, you don't need to be French to make this however, it is from a French woman so you know it has got to be good.

Yes, this is my darling grand mother's recipe. (insert awe here) It sounds fancy but it only takes a few ingredients and a mixer to make. It's delicious, creamy and if you're patient enough, make for a delicious ice cream like treat.

Here's what you need:
  • 1 Cup of Fruit (preferably strawberries)
  • 1 Egg White (important)
  • 1/2 Cup of white Sugar per Egg
  • Dash of Salt

Here's what you gotta do:
  1. Mix egg white for one minute
  2. Slowly add sugar
  3. Gradually add fruit

This will produce a beautiful whipped cream that you can use to top fruit cups, crepes, ice cream or anything that could taste better with more sugar (everything)

If you want to enjoy it as a treat by itself, place in the freezer for 1-2 hours to make a thicker mousse that you can eat like ice cream.

Enjoy!
